Karene Brown

Karene Brown is vice president, investor relations and engagement at QED Investors, where she focuses on LP relationships, fundraising activities and the firm’s broader investor relations strategy. She also co-leads key firmwide events, with a particular focus on investor engagement.

Karene joined QED in 2020 and has held several roles across the firm, most recently serving as a leader in QED’s executive office. In that capacity, she worked closely with the firm’s senior leadership and investment teams on strategic initiatives, executive engagement and relationship management across QED’s global network.

Prior to QED, Karene spent more than 15 years in executive-facing and operational roles across financial and professional services, including positions at Capital One, Baker Hostetler and Hausfeld. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.

Outside of QED, Karene enjoys spending time with her rambunctious pup, Scooby Juneteenth Brown, traveling, and puttering around in her garden with more enthusiasm than expertise.
