Tim O'Shea

Tim O'Shea is a senior advisor to QED.

He specializes in helping fintechs navigate banking and regulatory issues, especially relating to product launches and growth initiatives. His work reduces time to revenue, enables effective compliance and risk management, and identifies strategic opportunities and risks in the regulatory environment.

A trusted advisor to leadership teams of fintechs and traditional financial institutions, Tim’s areas of core expertise include bank regulation and risk management of fintech activities, consumer compliance and enterprise risk management, corporate governance and strategic matters involving the interaction of innovation and regulation. He works with portfolio companies in a range of capacities, including fractional compliance and risk leadership, program development and strategic project execution.

Tim received his law and graduate degrees from Duke University and his undergraduate degree from New York University.
